Do you have to register to attend, or just if you want to participate in the contest?

Hi:

We had 100 divers take part in our event last year, when BugFest was held for the first time. Just under 50 signed up for the Great Florida Bug Hunt.

You only have to register for the lobster hunting ($20 and you get a T-shirt), Jim Mathie bug hunting seminar ($20) or photo/video contests (free).

If you just want to come to the lobster cookout or mini-season party or lobster chef competition, registration is not required.
